encourage the bluegrass youth to participate in the "Youth Band" at the Amelia Festivals. They can talk
easily to the big names in Bluegrass but also never forget the up and comers and the local bands.
All of whom get air time on their shows and who Brenda introduces with the same enthusiasm that she
introduces the nationally known acts.
Their respect and love for the music comes through when they talk about the "emotion and soul" that
Bluegrass has and the feeling in the music that so many relate to. Calvin sums it all up when he says,
"It is about the music. We try to let the music be the show."
